“Avery Mann” is the pseudonym for Ryan Ventura, an average guy who works in healthcare leadership and relationship communication — where listening under pressure matters daily. Drawing inspiration from generations of husbands who bravely offered suggestions later confessed to be “my wife’s idea,” Avery Mann captures the timeless wisdom, courage, and strategic silence that define married life. His writing helps couples understand how men and women interpret situations differently — often in ways that are easier to laugh about than argue about. He writes with the quiet confidence of a husband who has been right at least once — and it involved telling his wife, “you are right.” His work has been praised by readers, gift-givers, and at least one guy who nodded thoughtfully and said, “Exactly.”
When he’s not carefully observing conversations, Ryan serves as Business Development Manager at RVNAhealth, a local non-profit connecting people in need with nurses, therapists, aides, and companions at home. He brings experience in Transitional Care Leadership, Pastoral Counseling, and Crisis Management in healthcare and caregiver settings.
